As the president of Family Legacy Planning, David Welborn is focused on helping clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out financial strategy for retirement.
David became interested in the financial services industry when he hired a personal financial advisor at the age of 18. A couple years later, David realized the financial advisor he had hired was merely just a mutual fund salesman, and therefore wasn’t performing all of the duties David required. He fired him and began investing funds on his own, learning the ins and outs of the industry at an early age.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Arkansas, David went on to apply for dental school. However, during his dental school interview, he was asked what type of books he read for leisure. David realized all of the books were on financial topics, not on teeth. He decided dental school wasn’t for him, and instead started his own financial services company.
David holds his life, health and long-term care insurance licenses in Arkansas and has passed the Series 65 exam. David has repeatedly trained other top advisors nationwide as a respected speaker at financial and insurance conferences.
With a focus on income planning, wealth management, tax efficient strategies and legacy planning, David works to serve clients and their families in the greater Northwest Arkansas area. He has been featured in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette and Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
He enjoys spending his free time with family, cheering on his sons sports teams, mountain biking, and is an avid outdoorsman.
David is an insurance agent operating under Arkansas Resident Agency License No. 100104390 and NPN & Arkansas Insurance Producer License No. 7401683.
Frederick W. Miller was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He spent the first 15 years of his working career as the chief fundraiser and project manager for a Benedictine monastery. He is the trusted financial advisor for a select group of families, specializing in wealth management and retirement income planning while drawing from his years of experience managing funds for nonprofit organizations. To provide all the services his select families might require, he holds an insurance license and has passed the Series 65 exam.
In his off-time Fred enjoys reading, traveling, piano-playing and water-skiing. He currently lives in New Iberia with his wife, Alexa, and their daughters, Juliet and Cecilia.
